Endemic Species: Found Nowhere Else in the World

"Endemic species" are those that are UNIQUE to a defined geographic location - such as an island,
a province, a nation, or some other defined zone; being found NOWHERE ELSE in the World.
Three vascular plant species are endemic to the "limestone barrens" of the Island of Newfoundland:
Long's Braya (Braya longii), Fernald's Braya (Braya fernaldii), and Barrens Willow (Salix jejuna).
